


Welcome to Acalanes Area Chapter
National Charity League, Inc., is a unique mother-daughter organization dedicated to serving the community. Our Chapter is located in Northern California, serving Lafayette, Moraga and Orinda, as well as State and National non-profit organizations.
The Acalanes Area Chapter was organized in 1991, chartered in 1994 and incorporated in 1995. Our philanthropies include; Aegis Assisted Living, Alta Bates Hospital, American Cancer Society, Bay Area Crisis Nursery, Bay Area Rescue Mission, Blue Star Moms, Califonia Shakespeare (Cal Shakes), California Revels, Child Abuse Prevention Council, Children's Hospital, Contact Care, Dean Lesher Regional Center for the Arts, Family Caregiver Alliance, Food Bank, Habitat for Humanity, Human Race, Juvenile Diabetes, Oakland Zoo, Orinda Arts Council, Rebuilding Together, Save the Bay, Senior Helpline, Shelter Inc., Smiley Dog Rescue, Special Olympics, STAND Against Domestic Violence, Students Rising Above, Taylor Foundation and Wardrobe for Opportunity.
These volunteer activites initiate a lifelong commitment to community service and deepen the bond between mother and daughter through these shared activities.
