We are finding that these really aren't necessary as the system seems to be governed by the status of ENABLED OR DISABLED. My question is are we set up correctly if these statuses really don't do anything. Would it be a better option to just delete these statuses to achieve greater consistency when using the system? Were they valid fields in the old chapter web and now not in 2.0? We are trying to clean things up and need some advice.

5/3/2010 1:35:34 PM Kimberly Posts: 75	Hi Laura, A lot of Chapters use the "Active" and "Inactive" to show who is currently active in the chapter, not necessarily who is currently active on the website. Just as Jennifer mentioned, it's a way to filter and sort members. Most Chapters use Active to designate that the person has moved on and is no longer a Provisional and after they are done serving in NCL, they are now Inactive. It can also help to have these Statuses when emailing members. You might want to email Patronesses, but you don't want to email ALL Patronesses, only those who are active.
