A board member communicated to me that she has been receiving duplicate chapter-wide e-mails. On the Patroness listing, all board members are listed twice, once with their name (as a patroness) and second as their board position (which they have a seperate login for), but, both have same e-mail address. If a member checks "Patroness" to send out a chapter-wide e-mail (which is correct), then theoretically, all board members (and website admins too) have duplicate e-mails sent to them. I, as a website admin, don't receive duplicate e-mails. No other board member has told me that this happens to them, so, I am wondering WHY does just this one board member receives duplicates? And is there any way to rectify this? On the "board positions" member profiles, don't have patroness as a role? Not a big deal/problem or anything, just an inconsistency that I don't understand, and if can rectify, want to do so. Thank you! I haven't pestered you all in a little while....so, it was time! :) Sally Sutton

Hi Sally,
Your board member should only be receiving one copy of the email even if she is in several different roles. You can see this for yourself if you go into the Communications tab and select "Patroness" and "Administrator" and look for yourself. Even though you are in both groups, your name will only show up once below in the "To" column.
If the board member is receiving duplicates she might also have her email listed in her TT's profile, or if could be another issue. If you want to email our support team support@chapterweb.net with her name we'll be able to better look into the issue and see what could be causing this.
