Is there a way to "invite" a group to an event and then have them respond if they can or cannot attend. Then you would know who is coming, who can't and who hasn't even responded. Similar to eVite. Thanks

Hi Sophia,

The best way to do this is to set up the event on the calendar as an "RSVP" event. Next, send out an email using the Communications page to the group that you would like to invite, letting them know to RSVP on the calendar. You can then link directly to the event on the calendar by copying and pasting the URL on the top of your browser that you see when you click on the event to see the full details (see the screenshot below, it'll look something like: http://nclridgerock.chapterweb.net/_extranet/calendars/event.aspx?calendar_id=175222&month=1&day=10&year=2012).

Once you have sent on this email, the members can click directly on the link or go to the calendar and RSVP for the event. If they RSVP no, there will be a separate list. Currently there is no way in ChapterWeb to see who has not replied at all, you'll just need to check through your RSVP list of yes and no's. We are looking into developing this feature more to allow people who set up RSVP events to quickly see who has and who has not yet responded. This will not be developed until about mid-2012.

If you have any questions at all, please let me know.

Thank you,
