What is ChapterWeb?
ChapterWeb is a Web software package that was designed to help National Charity League chapters exchange information via the Internet. Our work with well over 70 NCL Chapters in the past few years has allowed us to fully evaluate the current communication methods used and determine the best way to help each chapter save time, money, and allow their members to communicate effectively via the internet.
How Does ChapterWeb Work?
All chapters log into a secure central member gateway to access the member-only area for their designated chapter. Each Web administrator of each participating chapter assigns unique user names and passwords to their members to log in to the member-only area.
Each Web administrator for your chapter may assign different levels of permissions for each individual member specifying what they can and cannot view once logged in. This feature allows you to assign specific updating tasks to individual members of your chapter.
How is information updated?
ChapterWeb is 100% managed by your members from the Internet through a browser. Regular members have permission to update their personal profile such as address, phone number, email address, spouse name, daughter(s) names and graduating class, sorority, user name, password, etc. Your designated Web administrator(s) have permission to update all information including calendars, newsletters, bylaws, standing rules, Philanthropy schedules, and member profile information, etc.
How often does the software change?
As a subscriber to ChapterWeb you are entitled to receive current versions of the software as they become available. Our shared network and centralized management of the software allows us to make single global updates that instantly upgrade all subscriber Web sites. Utilizing MITC’s ProSupport® remote support services, each designated Web administrator is able to communicate directly with MITC software development personnel to proactively convey requests for improving and enhancing features. As new technologies and features are introduced you will receive an email from our development team notifying you of the latest additions and features.
